Habitat for Humanity of Smith County, Inc. announces a new division of its organization, ReHabitat, a home repair program for low-income senior homeowners.
In addition to our new home construction program, ReHabitat is a new renovation program where we repair existing damaged homes for the elderly.
Texas Health and Human Services Commission, East Texas Council of Governments (ETCOG) and Social Services Block Grant have awarded Habitat for Humanity of Smith County a $200,000 grant for critical repair of senior citizens' homes in Smith County.
